YES Appointments are preferred! At Brides of Today, we want the process of choosing your gown to be stress-free and fun! Your bridal stylist will spend a few minutes alone with you assisting you in selecting and then trying on different styles to create the perfect gown for you and your beautiful curves. We do not suggest walk-ins, we pride ourselves in creating a happy and memorable experience from the beginning to end of your appointment. If you'd like to walk-in Wednesday thru Friday due to a busy schedule, we ask that you please call the salon first to make sure our stylists aren't busy with other brides. We also have after hours appointments available those days. APPOINTMENT POLICY: In order to maintain a stress-free atmosphere for you and our other brides, we ask that you bring no more than 4 guests and no children under the age of 12. We also ask that out of respect for our brides, please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that we may continue to assist the bride before you.

It is best to order 9 to 12 months prior to the wedding date. However, our dresses typically arrive 6 to 9 months from date of purchase. 3 to 4 months is suggested for mothers and prom gowns. We always suggest shopping early to ensure your order can be fulfilled, especially if you'll need any type of alteration. All Sales are Final.

Mother's should allow a good 6-8 months from time of purchase to the day of the wedding. Companies may or may not do a rush cut for Mother's gowns. When ordered, it can take a total of 4 months to receive the gown in salon, and then we steam it before she comes in to try it on. We also like to make sure that Mother's have the time as well to have any alterations as needed without having any extra stress at this special time.

Our bridal gowns, range from sizes 16W to 34W with custom sizing possibly available by designer for an extra fee. Gowns range from $1,100 to $3,000. Mother gowns, we carry sizes 16 to 36 and range from $175 to $650.

No! This is just part of our service and we do not charge for either one.

No. We measure and must follow a designers size chart and we get as close as possible to your size trying our best to avoid alterations. Our designers may also offer custom measurements for an extra fee. Gowns always need a little tweak by a seamstress even when ordered with custom measurements.

No. A seamstress is required to create the bustle for you. She will show you what styles work best for your gown and you then choose which style that you like.

We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented these policies for this reason. BOOKING, CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICIES: *Your appointment is reserved especially for you and ask that you please respect the salon’s scheduling policies. *In order to book your desired appointment, a credit card is required at the time of booking your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make the necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled appointment. *If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call and let us know, but we may not be able to complete the entire appointment, since there is another appointment scheduled after yours. *Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. *Any cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. *Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged $50.
