We specialize in plus size wedding gowns from sizes starting at 14 - 44 and believe that all women should have a place to shop for their dream gown, no matter what size they are.

I have been a plus size girl all my life. In the 40's and 50's, there were only two department stores that had clothes to fit me. I started out opening a consignment shop and over time I brought in consignment wedding gowns. Then one day, a family member suggested I create a plus size bridal salon. That was the best thing I could do in order to see that plus size women were also able to get the gown of their dreams. I believe the plus size community is severely underserved, and I wanted to do something about that. Every bride that walks in becomes one of my little girls, and I love seeing them shine and feel as beautiful as they are.

I have been working as a bridal stylist since 2006. People ask why I love what I do? Easy, I love the feeling I get when I help a young lady find her dream gown. This is why I enjoy customizing and making her dream gown become reality. When the gown arrives, I am not sure who is more excited, the bride or myself to see the finished product. The job is an extremely rewarding one. When I'm not at Brides of Today, you may find me driving a school bus for our local school district.

I have been working at Brides of Today as a sales consultant and in social media marketing since August of 2023. My first experience here was when I came in looking for my wedding gown. As someone who has been plus size my whole life, I was understandably anxious about trying on wedding dresses. I was immediately blown away by how comfortable and beautiful this team made me feel, and I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of it, and wanted to help make other plus size brides feel that same way. I've previously been the assistant manager at a plus size clothing store, so I have experience in fashion and know how to make our curvy girls see how beautiful they genuinely are. As a June 2024 bride myself, I love staying up-to-date on the latest bridal trends and connecting with the brides who come in every day. I can't wait to meet you and help you find the dress of your dreams.
