It is difficult for me to put into words just how magical our wedding day was. It was everything we hoped for and more. My dress was one of the highlights of my day. I was so nervous that I would be disappointed with my wedding photos due to not feeling beautiful or comfortable in the photos, but that couldn't be further from how I felt in my gown on the day of the wedding. My dress was more beautiful than I remembered when trying it on when I purchased it. It fit me so well and I received so many compliments. I am so thankful for Brides of Today for the full experience of trying dresses on, to finding my perfect wedding dress.

I have been working at Brides of Today as a sales consultant and in social media marketing since August of 2023. My first experience here was when I came in looking for my wedding gown. As someone who has been plus size my whole life, I was understandably anxious about trying on wedding dresses. I was immediately blown away by how comfortable and beautiful this team made me feel, and I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of it, and wanted to help make other plus size brides feel that same way. I've previously been the assistant manager at a plus size clothing store, so I have experience in fashion and know how to make our curvy girls see how beautiful they genuinely are. As a June 2024 bride myself, I love staying up-to-date on the latest bridal trends and connecting with the brides who come in every day. When I'm not working at the bridal salon, I am either at school finishing up my last semester in college for software engineering or spending time with my fiancé. I know it’s cliché for a bride to say that my wedding day was the best day of my life— but I officiate, sing, and do floral arrangements for weddings— and I’m hard pressed to find a day filled with more unfettered joy than this. Ben and I were surrounded by as many friends and family as we could fit in the venue, there was so much love in that room— everyone was there to celebrate, and just as ready to PARTY! Our big day was rainy, but it made the ceremony cozy and intimate, and the pictures even more stunning. We added so many personal touches in our event that made it absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough about how perfect my dress was, and neither could my guests. I could hear people gasping as I walked down the aisle! I have never felt so beautiful. And I will get to wear it again—I’m having it modified to wear when I emcee a local Faerie Festival. The kids will definitely know who is the Faerie Queen! Thank you so much to Brides of Today for serving the plus size community with dignity, and Pam for making the trying on dresses a fun experience. I cannot recommend them enough. I didn’t even bother going anywhere else for my dress, and I’m so glad!
